The Skynyrd Experience formed in June 2009 bringing together a group of talented, seasoned professional musicians and long standing friends who are all life long Lynyrd Skynyrd fans.

Having painstakingly rehearsed the best known Lynyrd Skynyrd numbers for 3 months, taking fanatical care to reproduce the guitar tones and sounds of the mid 1970's Skynyrd line up the band was now ready to gig.

Their first performance in October 2009 was met with rave reviews leaving the audience, which included many long term Lynyrd Skynyrd fans, astonished at the accuracy and superior delivery of Lynyrd Skynyrds many great rock classics. In particular their renditions of "Freebird" and "Sweet Home Alabama", numbers which are so often heard but rarely performed true to the original recordings are quite stunning.

A further three appearances in late 2009 and January 2010 were met with equally awe-inspiring audience and music industry endorsement.

The Skynyrd Experience are now looking forward to a very busy 2010 and are currently talking to venues all over the country with regard to lining up performance dates which will appear when confirmed on their myspace page and website.
